BugOps

Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2025

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using BugOps ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

BugOps is an automated issue resolution platform that connects to your error monitoring and source control tools. When a production error occurs, the Service analyzes the issue, generates a fix, and opens a pull request on your behalf.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Your code and data

You retain all rights to your code. We do not claim ownership of any code, data, or content you provide to the Service. We access your repositories and error data only as necessary to provide the Service. By default, your code is cloned into isolated third-party sandboxes for processing — these environments are ephemeral and code is deleted once a task completes. Enterprise plan customers may bring their own cloud infrastructure so that code never leaves their environment.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems; (c) interfere with or disrupt the integrity of the Service; (d) use the Service to transmit malicious code; or (e) resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.

6. Billing and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time — your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

7. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits availability. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BugOps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will make your data available for export for 30 days following termination.
